Very light, dry or porous hair may absorb more of this coloration. Soaking some of the shed hair from your brush or comb in prepared Færie Dust is recommended to see the reaction to your personal hair type before application to the hair on your head.

Melissa’s website conjures up an otherworldly night market, replete with baskets full of mysterious and magical herbs and powders, where fae (with spectacular heads of hair, of course) rub shoulders with you as you shop. I myself am more hobbit than elf, but I couldn’t resist coming away with this appropriately named mix the last time I came to shop.
