Empty packet into a glass or ceramic bowl and stir in enough water to make a paste. Add this to a quarter cup of conditioner. Work mixture through clean, damp hair, allow to sit for 30 minutes, and rinse. Can also be added to your favorite henna, or herbal mud treatment, 1 10g packet of Faerie Dust per 100g of other herbs.
Please note that some of the herbs in Færie Dust may impart some subtle golden or red tones to hair. This color most often fades completely after the next washing. Very light, dry or porous hair may absorb more of this coloration. Soaking some of the shed hair from your brush or comb in prepared Færie Dust is recommended to see the reaction to your personal hair type before application to the hair on your head.
Faerie Dust can stain very pale hair, so make sure you strand test. Learn how here.
