Mineral residue on your hair can make senna and cassia-containing colors take on a green hue. Alluvial both cures and prevents this by removing the minerals without damaging the golden color.

Nightblooming’s Daybreak Organic Senna (Cassia) worked really well for me as a diluting agent for henna in my herbal dye mixture. I either use about 50% Senna or Sedr as the diluting herb to the henna, plus i mix in about 25% henna, 12% amla and 12% indigo which I apply to my medium brown/graying hair. The mixture with senna makes my gray hair turn out more golden than using Sedr does. The golden tones of the cassia helps in creating wonderful variation and natural highlighting as you can see. My hair still turns more warm (henna orange) in the sun like it does with everyone…that’s just the unique gift of henna. Cassia felt great on my hair. Her products are wonderful, her service is amazing (I’ve never known a company or proprietor to be so generous in attention to its customters!) Eco packaging, fast service and quick delivery. Nightblooming freed me from the salon trip, salon cost, and assisted me to independently take care of my own hair. Very thankful for her!!
