A lifelong gamer, Melissa is both a player and DM at times. You can find backstories for some of her characters on her Patreon.
One of Melissa’s favorite things to do is put a few drops of a character-inspired oil on a bit of fabric and sneak it in her dice bag. It makes for a lovely puff of air when the bag is opened and makes her feel like her dice roll better.

This was the first product I bought from Nightblooming! From there I was hooked. This was a birthday present for my husband and Melissa was so great, she even included a little message for his gift from me – “Do not go far from me!”

This is the product that made me a believer. As a big gamer and forever rogue, Vax is my comfort character. So when I decided to cosplay him I really wanted to incorporate a fragrance that fit with what Percy gave him in the live stream. When I found Night Blooming on Etsy years ago I ordered this right away, and it’s become my daily scent ever since. I absolutely love it, and not just because it reminds me of my favorite fate-touched. It generally just smells very lovely and I get lots of compliments too. I love how it smells on fabrics, hair and skin, and how it wears throughout the day. I have purchased it in the dram, mister, and oil blend and they’re all great for different applications. For someone with sensitive skin, I’m really careful about ingredients too and I trust Melissa’s knowledge and expertise. Truly if everything I owned smelled like this I’d be very happy (and at this point it very nearly does!) Fragrance is such an individual thing, but this one just makes the good brain chemicals for me. Plus it helps that Melissa is a rockstar and just genuinely a lovely human. I’ve tried a few other smells too and they’re all very true to description and equally well blended, but this is easily the one I’ve repurchased again and again because it just gets me. I love that it’s a bit floral on top but not sweet, and the base resiny and sandalwood notes with the incensy vibe end up giving it a unisex overall feel. It’s an androgynous scent to me which I deeply appreciate. It feels very fantasy appropriate. Highly recommend if you’re grappling with your destiny as the champion of a mysterious goddess or even just wanna give off that mysterious low priestess energy. If you find yourself gravitating to the overall nose of masculine fragrances/find feminine fragrances a bit too sweet and cloying, this is one for you. If you like the incense idea but want something a little more heady, musky and sexy, and slightly more floral you might try the Mollymauk!

I enjoy all of Nightblooming’s oils but this is by far my favorite. The smell is so exotic and regal. I would buy it by the gallons if possible!!!

Love this scent! It’s very strong, which I love. Has a slight incense-y smell to it.
